I read this book over a year ago and I have recommended it to averyone I know. It is uplifting, humbling, sad, touching, heartfelt and, most importantly, true and there are parts of this book that will stay with me forever . I could go on and on about why I think you should read this book but instead I am just going to recommend that you do and hope that you trust me – it’s worth it!

David Kessler is a death and grieving expert – he has published many books and this one in particular has resonated with me recently. I have enjoyed and appreciated his manner of delivery and how he shares his own experiences of death and grief, and that of others, in a way that can make us feel less alone whilst navigating a devastating time. You could read this book weeks, months, or many years after losing someone and it will hopefully provide you with comfort and a sense of being understood.
